Be Mystified By The Magical Barbie World At Mall Of Emirates

  • Showcases 24 collector dolls dressed by world-class fashion designers until Sep
  • Empowers little girls with Rock’n Royals activities on Sep 9-13

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Majid Al Futtaim’s flagship - Mall of the Emirates, the premium destination for luxury fashion, Barbie was brought into Middle East to present her fashion heritage, which served an inspiration for designers and girls of all ages until September 8th 2015.

Although Barbie Doll’s proportion has been subjected to much debate, there is hardly anyone denying the lure of the unrealistically beautiful Barbie. Dubai for that matter is an indulgent city though in a responsible one at that. It lets you be yourself & believes in spoiling you to the hilt. We live just one life. So what harm does it do to be over cynical about things as harmless as a doll. Here is another testimony to the fact that Dubai that challenges your imagination and stretch the parameters of reality. While diabetics walks, pinkathon & breast cancer awareness champaigns & events highlight Dubai’s responsible side- the Barbie collectors doll exhibition showcases its ability to seduce with opulence.

In a Parisian setting at the Central Galleria, the first-ever haute couture Barbie Collector exhibition in the region showcases limited-edition Barbie dolls, each with stunning hand-crafted designer outfits, inspired by signature looks from the catwalk shows, from a collection which has been developed over 50 years.

Adding to the fun, the little ones can experience the glamorous world of the modern-day rock star with Barbie in Rock’n Royals on September 9-14, where young girls can experiment with sparkle as they get glammed up with nail art at the Barbie Hand Spa, and have fun with temporary Barbie motif tattoos.

Discount vouchers will be available to participants in order to avail Barbie in Rock’n Royals merchandise from The Toy Store located on levels 1 and 2 at Mall of the Emirates, at reduced prices.
