Buzzingtales was absolutely dazzled on September 16, 2015, in Dubai when
Majid Al Futtaim’s premium
fashion and lifestyle destination, Mall of the Emirates held a glamorous
opening night of ‘World of Fashion’ with a unique fashion display of the latest
Autumn/Winter collections by multi-brand concept Etoile La Boutique, and a VIP
appearance of one of the most celebrated talents in the region, Elissa.
Mall of the Emirates’ Central Galleria
has transformed into an all-new, innovative and dynamic residential setting,
allowing style mavens and beauty lovers to admire the visually stunning
backdrop. As visitors wander through the dressing room, boudoir, gallery,
wellness retreat, and garden of the chic house, they can get a first-hand look
at the Autumn/Winter fashion, beauty, and design trends that will influence the
region’s style-setters in the coming year.
Taking the form of a beautiful walk-in
wardrobe, The Dressing Room includes everything from evening and daywear, to
bags, shoes, and other fashion accessories. Guests can opt for private styling
sessions from some of the best-dressed experts in town. Video tutorials will
also be running throughout ‘World of Fashion,’ with tips and tricks for
visitors on how to achieve the latest looks.
Moving in to The Boudoir, a space
dedicated to hair and beauty, guests will get the chance to watch Armani’s
Middle Eastern make-up artist demonstrate her beauty skills on a model, as they
browse hair displays, product presentations, and video tutorials, alongside
fine jewellery and accessories.
A dedicated art space, The Gallery,
will bring together the realms of fashion and culture by hosting an exclusive
and interactive exhibition with renowned artist eL Seed, known for his distinct
style in mixing traditional Arabic calligraphy and street art, alongside
captivating film screenings, and the opportunity to catch an artist at work, as
they create a 10th anniversary commemorative artwork for Mall of the Emirates.
Taking a moment to slow down, The
Wellness Retreat will educate on the practice of good eating habits, with
10-minute healthy cooking tutorials, as well as an insight into the world of
wellness, recipe inspiration, and the latest in sports luxe fashion.
Finally, The Garden will be home to
live discussions and performances of renowned artists including Elissa, eLSeed,
Megan Hess and Joanna Broomfield. With 60 seats, Mall of the Emirates’
guests will be able to relax and ruminate on ‘World of Fashion’ 2015.
