The importance and meaning of art is different for
each individual and depends of individual taste, choices as well as
sensibilities. While Andy Warhol believes- “Art is anything you can get away
with”, Picasso ascribes a new purpose to art. He believes “Art washes away from
the soul the dust of everyday life.”Most appreciate its decorative purpose
though.

From my perspective (Being an Artist & Art lover) art enables one
to explore, express and comprehend the self. It is a vehicle for emancipation.
I would like to believe that it has the power to bring about change. In some
ways art is a medium to delve into the esoteric realm of spirituality. More than anything else Art just plain and
simple makes me happy.
Buzzingtales got an opportunity to taste happiness
when it got invited to Jordanian artist Marwa Al Najjar’s art exhibition titled
“Monotone" at FANN- A- PORTER, in Kempinski Hotel, Mall of Emirates.
If you are an artist or an art lover then mark your calendar
and prepare to feast your eyes on the profoundly poignant, yet beautiful and
intense monotone paintings of Marwa.
